‘Spiders ‘ like formations on mars capture by ESA’s ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter near Mars’s south pole . These Spider-like formations emerge when spring sunlight interacts with layers of carbon dioxide accumulated during the winter months.
Reality Of ‘Spiders’ On Mars
There is not any existence of spiders on mars but here is a rumor on the internet which state that there is a Spiders on mars but the reality is way more different then the News .Let us break the Rumor
This is true that ESA’s ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter capture the ‘Spiders ‘ like formations on mars but it’s not a spider like we found on Earth . This is just a spider like formation formed During the spring on Mars, When sunlight shines on layers of carbon dioxide that were deposited during the dark winter months. This sunlight warms up the carbon dioxide ice at the bottom of these layers, turning it into gas. As the gas builds up, it breaks through the slabs of ice above. This gas, mixed with dark dust, shoots up through cracks in the ice, forming tall fountains or geysers. Eventually, it falls back down and settles on the surface, creating dark spots of between 45 m and 1 km across.. This process also creates distinctive spider-shaped patterns underneath the ice, which are visible in the image.
The image was taken by CaSSIS on October 4, 2020. It is centered around 323 degrees east and 75 degrees south.

TGO ( ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter )
The ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) from ESA has captured clear images of the spider-like patterns, distinct from those shown in the recent Mars Express image. While the Mars Express view focuses on the dark spots formed by escaping gas and material, the TGO perspective reveals intricate, web-like channels etched into the ice below. These dark spots are prominent throughout the Mars Express image, particularly concentrated in the left dark region bordering an area of Mars known as Inca City. This area, formally known as Angustus Labyrinthus, was discovered in 1972 by NASA’s Mariner 9 probe and is characterized by linear ridges reminiscent of Inca ruins.

Behind The Image
The photo was taken by a camera called the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE), which is the most powerful camera ever sent to another planet. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, managed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, oversees this camera. Lockheed Martin Space Systems in Denver built the spacecraft. The HiRISE camera is operated by the University of Arizona, and it was built by Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. in Colorado.
Is There Life On MARS
As of now, there is no conclusive evidence confirming the existence of life on Mars. However, scientists continue to explore the possibility through various missions and research efforts. Some studies suggest that Mars may have once had conditions suitable for life in its distant past, such as liquid water and a thicker atmosphere. Recent discoveries of organic molecules and seasonal variations in methane levels have further fueled interest in the potential for microbial life on the planet. However, further exploration and analysis are needed to definitively answer the question of whether life currently exists or has ever existed on Mars.
